Job Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) focused on enhancing the lives of adults through tailored behavioral analyses. This hybrid remote role offers you the chance to make a significant impact while working in a supportive environment that values client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training and support to staff in the principles of Positive Behavior Support (PBS).
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs) to provide expert insights on behavioral challenges.
  • Conduct thorough behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and interpret the outcomes.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee behavior intervention plans (BIPs), ensuring staff receive ongoing guidance.
  • Deliver direct behavioral treatment including social skills training, crisis de-escalation, and skills coaching across various settings.
  • Monitor and work towards minimizing the use of restraint while addressing challenging behaviors.
  • Participate in committees such as the Behavior Intervention Committee and Human Rights Committee.
  • Provide individualized services tailored to each client’s unique treatment needs, adhering to all relevant care standards.
  • Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in reading, understanding, and effectively communicating instructions and information.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make sound decisions in diverse situations.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to function autonomously.
  • Competent in data entry and computer systems to maintain accurate and objective records.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline is essential.
  • A valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
