Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled OS/Linux/Windows Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to join our team. As an Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and support for diverse operating systems, with a focus on Linux and Windows environments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Ensuring system integrity and compliance through security patches and updates.
  • Monitoring system performance and resolving issues promptly.
  • Investigating and resolving complex technical incidents related to operating systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to diagnose and address issues efficiently.
  • Analyzing system configurations and proposing optimizations for enhanced performance.
  • Implementing best practices for system tuning, memory management, and network performance.
  • Maintaining comprehensive system documentation, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Generating weekly status reports outlining tasks, activities, and future plans.
  • Providing prompt responses to escalated support tickets.
  • Participating in on-call rotation for urgent incidents during non-business hours.
  • Collaborating with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of OS with network services and applications.

Candidate Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 4-6 years of experience as an OS/Linux/Windows Engineer.
  • Proficiency in designing and debugging drivers for Windows (10/11, XP, CE).
  • Strong experience with USB, Bluetooth, UART, and Audio over Bluetooth drivers.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as C and C++.
  • Competence with Visual Studio Code and Windbg for debugging.
  • Experience with version control tools like GitHub and Gerrit.
