Job description:

A staff accountant plays a crucial role in the running of our growing organization. The staff accountant role will provide support to the operation and corporate accounting department in preparing of monthly and annual financial reports to maintain records which are related to the financial activities of the company. This position will be required to provide detail oriented professional services for full cycle accounting.

 

Responsibilities:

• Acts as an assistant to the company finance department in various functions like opening and closing of financial books, preparation of the annual financial reports and deals with the employees to solve any company related financial problems like erroneous calculation of salary

• Being aware of the state as well as federal laws to accurately calculate the wages keeping in line with state and federal laws

• Keeping track of assets and liabilities of the company and acting as a troubleshooter for various finance related problems

• Calculation of the productivity output of the employees of the companies. The staff accountant works with the human resource department to fulfill their responsibilities in this regard.

• Preparation of salary statements for the company employees. This includes calculation of different kinds of deductions from the salary like insurance premiums, taxes litigations and auditing.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• A technical degree in accounting (or equivalent experience)

• 2-3 Years Experience in corporate accounting.

• Excellent computer skills a must! Excel skills including fluent with Pivot Tables and formulas, Word, and E-mail.

• English as a second language is required.

• Possibilities to modify work schedule is a plus.

• US Visa is a plus.

 

Schedule:

Monday -Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm (COL Time)
