Job description

The Sr. Manager, Patient Support Services Operations position is a critical role in a fast-paced, energetic US Market Access group. Under the direction of the Director, Operational Excellence, we believe you will be responsible for supporting the launch of Regeneron’s first potential gene therapy (CTG) patient support program from both an Operations and CRM Implementation standpoint. Additionally, we need you to have a keen eye for overall process improvement to support Operational Excellence initiatives across all patient support programs.

We expect you to develop and maintain a high-level of collaboration and integration with all cross-functional Regeneron staff, including Field Teams, Brand Marketing, Training, Market Access, Trade, Reimbursement, and Market Research.

A typical day may include the following:
  • Support the Director, Operational Excellence in the development of our first gene therapy patient support program by understanding the intricacies of the CTG space and aligning program objectives with operational execution
  • Develop, create, and launch program SOPs, job aids, call guides, correspondences and materials (i.e., content and processes) for these support programs and have experience obtaining approvals through MLR committees.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of patient services, including business processes, operational flows, program design, and operational challenges and apply knowledge to PSS CRM system design and end user experience.
  • Act as a liaison and facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, including PSS Leads/IT, Data and Analytics, PSS Innovations, and relevant field teams, to build business processes within the CRM and help address technical challenges or requirements.
  • Work closely with Director, Ops Excellence to define business requirements and program objectives, map out their current workflows, identify areas for continuous improvement, and conduct impact analysis.

The role may be for you if:
  • Cell and Gene patient support program experience
  • A strong understanding of Call Center operations
  • Ability to apply deep understanding of the Patient Services internal and vendor landscape to provide innovative solutions
  • Applicant must have excellent organizational and communication skills. This includes demonstrating an understanding of how to call out issues/concerns and effectively communicate with others, especially those in other functional areas.
  • Previous experience in managing a buy and bill reimbursement or patient assistance program.

To be considered for this role, we require 10 years of pharmaceutical experience with minimum of 5 years of experience with working with IT / development teams to implement patient support programs along with a bachelor's degree. We expect the Sr. Manager to have launch experience within the Cell/Gene or Rare Disease space.

Salary Range (annually)

$132,400.00 - $216,000.00
