Otis is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to drive our strategic evolution in our PMO and Agile journey, fostering innovation and collaboration across the organization. This role requires expertise in Agile adoption and implementation, program governance, project and program management, PMO process definition, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience executing strategic objectives while managing the details of daily operations. A proven track record in digital transformation, portfolio management, and innovation is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams effectively.

On a typical day you will:

  • Provide Execution Expertise: Offer business domain and functional expertise to execute on program strategies that align with the goals of the Digital Technology (DT) unit.

  • Provide Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and support PMO and Agile teams by fostering a collaborative environment and coach teams to have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles and drive successful outcomes.

  • Partner & Manage our Agile Transformation: embed Agile principles, approaches, practices, and tools into the organization's culture, ensuring teams are empowered to deliver value efficiently and dynamically.

  • Implement Agile Frameworks: Apply a pragmatic approach to incorporating Agile methodologies into DT program delivery, enhancing business objectives and improving delivery outcomes.

  • Governance Optimization:  Manage efforts to streamline and improve PMO governance processes within DT, ensuring they are lean, lightweight, effective, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals, while maintaining necessary controls and oversight for project and program management.

  • Ensure Governance Compliance: Oversee adherence to our governance, ensuring continuous rollout of efficient policies and practices are properly communicated.

  • Develop and Deliver PMO Training: Design and deliver training programs focused on PMO concepts and best practices, ensuring that PMs are proficient in standardized project management methodologies.

  • Conduct Agile Practices Training: Design and deliver Agile training programs to ensure that DT teams are well-versed in Agile principles, practices, and tools, enabling them to adapt and succeed in our strategic Agile transformation journey.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with internal and external team members to drive continuous improvement in governance and delivery mechanisms.

  • Oversee Program Lifecycle: Monitor DT programs from start to finish, ensuring that deadlines, milestones, dependencies, and processes are effectively managed throughout the project delivery lifecycle.

  • Manage Portfolio Delivery:Manage the successful planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of DT-related programs and projects.

  • Define and Measure KPIs: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and report on the status and value creation of DT programs.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in digital transformation (DT), IT, PMO or related work experience

  • Expertise in project management, Agile frameworks, and PMO transformation

  • Proven ability to lead Agile initiatives, foster collaboration, and drive change in large organizations

  • Strong leadership in program management, partnering with PMs and Agilists

  • Experience providing project health reporting to executive stakeholders

  • Effective communicator and collaborator across business and technical teams

  • Global experience working within multinational organizations and aligning strategic goals

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and presentation skills

  • Certifications in PM and Agile practices (PMP, SAFe SPC, Scrum, etc.)

  • Proficiency in PPM and Agile tools; AI familiarity is a plus

The salary range for this role is $136,800-$171,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future.  Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
