We're growing fast and were on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant / Team Leader to join our remote team. If you've got 4+ years of Australian public practice experience and a passion for mentoring and excellence, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

In this key leadership role, you'll oversee the preparation and review of tax returns and financial statements, guide junior staff, and help improve processes to deliver top-tier service. You'll play a vital part in maintaining client relationships while ensuring high-quality and timely financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with Australian standards
  • Mentor and support junior team members, helping them grow professionally
  • Stay updated on Australian tax law and accounting standards, and share insights with the team
  • Continuously look for ways to improve workflow and service delivery

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of Australian tax experience in a public practice firm
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting principles
  • Experience with Xero and BGL 360
  • SMSF experience (a plus, but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
