Job description

** This is a contract role with our tech client that goes through December 2025 with potential to extend **

Our client in the Tech Industry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced contractor to manage core Marketing Operations functions. As the lead of Marketing Operations, you will play a critical role in overseeing all marketing impact reporting, being an advisor on marketing performance and ensuring the successful management and optimization of marketing technologies and processes. Your expertise in Salesforce, HubSpot, DemandBase and Clay technologies will be instrumental in optimizing our marketing efforts and driving overall business success. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing operations strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the management of HubSpot, and DemandBase technologies to support marketing campaigns and activities, and work with sales ops on integration with Salesforce to ensure a unified funnel experience.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, sales development, marketing, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of marketing systems and processes.
  • Define and establish best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs), including SLAs, for marketing operations, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Drive the collection, analysis, and interpretation of marketing data and metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to the executive team.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of marketing processes, workflows, and lead management, leveraging marketing technologies and tools.
  • Share the latest trends and advancements in marketing technology and recommend innovative solutions to enhance marketing operations.
  • Evaluate new technologies and platforms to support evolving marketing needs and current gaps in infrastructure

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-7 year’s proven experience in marketing operations
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in Salesforce, HubSpot, and ABM technologies
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from complex data sets
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in managing marketing metrics reporting and performance measurement
  • Familiarity with data management, segmentation, and targeting strategies
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Leadership qualities with a focus on fostering a positive work environment and developing team members
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving measurable business outcomes

Compensation Range: $55 - 70/hr DOE
