Job description

Halma India provides support for infrastructure, statutory facilitation, and environment for group companies to start-up and grow business operations in India.

This position will work with people platform BAU to determine best-fit solution and deliver solutions in-line with customer expectations. The position will support to enable Halma’s Digital Growth Engine by delivering quality technology solutions to meet the critical business needs of our companies.

The position will work with Halma companies to understand and document company requirements. It will facilitate user acceptance testing with end-user teams and performs testing were applicable. 

  • Will be an active member of the people platform BAU team, acting as support in country, holding a system SME role in a key functional area (Workday Recruiting or other area) and acting as configurator and analyst in high visibility annual processes.
  • Create training documentation for people platform users to close knowledge gaps.
  • Work to troubleshoot and resolve defects in Workday in accordance with internal release schedule and service level agreements. Determines root cause and work with People Platform team to develop recommendation for process improvement.
  • Use a case management system to triage defects or requests for change.  Would be responsible for configuration changes, on-going management and updates to Halma’s people platform.
  • Ensures system documentation in key functional areas are up to date and accurate.
  • Will work with internal customers and third-party provider to resolve complex configuration issues. Should be prepared to present to the talent community of 50+ partners when needed. 
  • Will give input to the change control committee. Will ensure changes are properly logged with documentation that fully describes the request.  Adheres to all change board policies and procedures.
  • Support Workday twice yearly release management process including new feature review, testing and education.

  • Will work to integrate acquired companies onto Halma’s people platform and play a role in improving the integration tools and processes, ensuring they are repeatable and optimized.
  • Stay up to date with platform functionality through continuous learning.
  • Be comfortable with a front-facing role that requires interaction with the 50+ customers in our talent community.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills. Has a knack for making the complex simple when explaining technical concepts. Must have a knowledge transfer mindset.
  • Support Halma’s Digital Growth Engine enabler by delivering quality technology solutions to meet the critical business needs of our companies.
  • Be an active member of the Global Talent & Culture team and be engaged in our local Halma Hub meetings and talent updates. Halma Hubs support our 40+ operating companies to grow their business in the local market.
