Requirements
Georgetown University’s Center for Global Health Practice and Impact (CGHPI) serves to sustainably improve population health and wellbeing and safeguard against health-related threats by advancing the use of evidence through human-centered design for the advancement of health and health equity. To advance this mission, CGHPI seeks a Regional Technical Assistance Provider to support states, jurisdictions, and providers in the implementation of HIV-related programs to advance the health of people living with HIV. This position will support CGHPI’s implementation of the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. - Technical Assistance Provider (EHE-TAP) project. Additional duties include , but are not limited to:
Work closely with the EHE-TAP Program Director, the EHE-TAP programmatic team, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) partners, and recipients of EHE funding (47 counties and states) to provide intensive technical assistance for the implementation of the EHE-TAP project.
Provide technical assistance to partner organizations, state and local governments, and community officials on various health-related projects.
Provide intensive support in areas such as program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and data analysis.
Closely collaborate, coordinate, and communicate with key project personnel, other Technical Assistance Providers, and EHE jurisdictions, withroutine travel for GU TAP, regional and one-on-one TA meetings and workshops being mandatory.
Work Interactions
The Regional Technical Assistance Provider will report directly to the EHE-TAP Program Director and Technical Assistance Provider Lead. They will engage student workers, other Regional Technical Assistance Providers, and technical provider consultants and sub-awardees, as required. This role will work directly in their assigned region, which may include a cluster of up to 7 EHE jurisdictions, to provide technical support. They will work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success while beinoccasionally required to move up to 10lbs of weight.
Requirements and Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in public health, epidemiology, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in HIV prevention, care, and treatment programs, data science, or a related field
Working knowledge of HRSA’s Ending the HIV Epidemic initiatives and programs
Ability to provide clear, actionable technical assistance to diverse stakeholders, including public health officials, healthcare providers. and community organizations
Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with a willingness to understand and probe into technical details
Advanced experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience in creating/generating high-level, complex reports, dashboards and maps
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills with Sstrong administrative skills
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a willingness to travel domestically
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with data in HIV initiatives
Experience with Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A or B
Experience providing technical assistance and/or capacity building
Experience in implementation of quality improvement activities
Experience translating data into infographics and visualizations
Working knowledge of implementation science

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$54,616.00 - $100,493.33Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
