About the position:
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented person with strong project management skills to join our team as a marketing operations specialist. This role will report into the marketing leader. As our marketing operations specialist, you will help manage the execution of marketing projects and initiatives, maintain our collateral inventory, and support our events strategies. You will play an important role by acting as a liaison with many internal departments and external resources. You will also ensure our marketing processes are efficient and effective.
While this position can be fully remote, we are looking for candidates to be residents of Illinois only.
Essential Functions:
Project management: Oversee the execution of projects and initiatives, including setting up workflows in our Project Management System
Event marketing support: Register AMO for approved events, coordinate shipping of booths and marketing materials, and ensure marketing team is aware of any new tasks required for each event (e.g., pre-/post-event email comms, social media posts, new collateral, etc.)
Inventory management: Ensure we have the appropriate amount of print collateral and promotional swag for upcoming events and users
Data management: Help maintain marketing databases and CRM systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Marketing Automation: Support the management of marketing automation tools and campaigns, such as HubSpot
Performance analysis: Help curate and analyze marketing data to measure campaign performance and ROI
Technical support: Provide technical support to the marketing team for campaign tracking issues
Process optimization: Analyze marketing processes and identify areas for improvement
Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, partners, and vendors

Skills:
Proficiency with Technology:
Previous experience with project management software (e.g., Trello, Monday.com, Asana, etc.),
CRM software (e.g., HubSpot/Salesforce) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Adobe applications.
Communication and Organizational Skills:
Excellent interpersonal communication, written and verbal.
Time-management and organizational skills with a focus on prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
Team Collaboration:
Strong team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is strongly preferred
1-3 years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or related field.
