Blueprint is looking for a Senior Manager, Social Media to develop and implement content strategy, create the social media marketing content calendar, and publish the content on designated social accounts. As part of the Content Marketing team, this role leads freelance contributors and works with creative designers and video editors to design social media posts that drive engagement, generate leads, and inspire brand trust. This role also directly manages Blueprint Med’s and Rosh Review’s social media accounts, including responding to and interacting with followers. The Senior Manager, Social Media also contacts potential influencers for partnerships and tracks and evaluates the results of influencer-related campaigns.
What You'll Do
- Create, distribute, and promote highly relevant, valuable content that engages our target audience, raises brand awareness, elevates our expertise, builds brand trust, and ultimately attracts high-quality leads
- Create and manage a monthly social media content calendar
- Implement content marketing and social media strategies across owned channels
- Coordinate writers, designers, and editors to create content, including social media posts, videos (both long- and short-form), etc.
- Manage Blueprint Med’s and Rosh Review’s social media accounts, including creative direction, messaging, posting, writing caption copy, responding to comments, and interacting with current medical school students, residents, and PAs via the company’s social media accounts
- Create innovative ideas for social media marketing campaigns
- Develop the social media strategy and analyze results to recommend improvements
- Build brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers
- Coordinate with other members of the content marketing team to promote relevant blogs and content across owned channels
- Drive traffic and engagement that translates to lead generation and elevates the brand
- Measure the results of organic social media activity to inform future marketing campaigns
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, and measure a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
- Actively engage in social listening to get ideas for content marketing and monitor the company's brand on social media
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Public Relations, or related marketing communications field
- 4-6+ years experience in social media management and content creation, with a proven ability to produce various types of content, including videos (long form and short form), static posts, etc. that generate leads and engage followers
- Passionate and enthusiastic about content marketing, social media, branding, and demand generation
- Experience managing freelance content creators to create engaging content in a timely and regular cadence according to brand guidelines and standards
- Experience working in medical education or healthcare-related industries preferred
- Understanding of which platform different kinds of content are best suited to
- Proven success in growing social media channels both in terms of followers and engagement
- Proven success launching innovative social media campaigns
- Experience with influencer outreach and successfully leveraging influencers to hit campaign goals
- Experience setting KPIs and measuring success of social media campaigns
- Ability to work in a collaborative and innovative team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, especially copywriting
