About the role

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Global Demand Generation leader to join our team. This position will be reporting directly to the CMO and is crucial in scaling Firebolt's revenue growth to the next stage. The successful candidate will bring a blend of strategic vision and hands-on approach to rapidly scaling a SaaS business in the B2B space, with particular experience in reaching and selling to an engineering audience.

About the day to day

  • Develop, implement and manage demand generation strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth, specifically targeting and resonating with an engineering audience.
  • Manage a significant demand generation budget, ensuring a high return on investment and driving significant growth in new customer acquisition.
  • Own the entire user journey funnel from first visit to a customer of our platform. Utilize data and analytics to optimize customer acquisition volumes and costs per region, improving funnel conversion rates and shortening the sales cycle.
  • Provide regular updates to the greater go-to-market team and form a tight partnership with the sales team to ensure alignment across all inbound / outbound marketing programs.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in meeting or exceeding demand generation targets in B2B SaaS companies.
  • Proven experience in significantly scaling ARR and managing large demand gen budgets.
  • Experience in executing successful demand generation strategies targeted at a developer / data engineering / data science audience across a range of channels, including: paid search , paid social, organic search (SEO), email marketing and more.
  • Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing global demand generation team responsible for paid and organic search, paid social, display, email marketing, account based marketing (ABM) and more.
  • Analytical nature with a data driven approach who is obsessed with optimizing conversion rates and ROI
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a capacity to work well in a team and to inspire and motivate staff. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Creative out of the box thinking
  • Experience in Product Led Growth (PLG) go-to-market is an advantage
  • Highly proficient with the latest AI tools with demonstrated ability to leverage AI for the role’s specific purposes.

The pay range listed below reflects the base salary for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. As part of our compensation philosophy, the total compensation is tailored to each candidate and influenced by factors such as job-related skills, level of experience, relevant certifications, and geographical location, to name a few.

Local Pay Range - 225,000-250,000 per year USD
