Position Summary

 

Outside Regional Sales Director will be responsible for daily oversight and performance of a sales team within primeline , alongside the current General Manager. He or She will assist in motivating the outside sales team to sell products and services through effective coaching, career development, and mentorship. The Outside Regional Sales Director will work with the Outside Sales Account Executives to ensure maximum productivity and effective performance.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • New Outside Sales Rep training with their GM.
  • Coaching underperforming reps that the GM requests for them to spend time with.
  • Assist in visiting large partners in open territories.
  • Work with GM on any Special Projects that occur throughout the year.
  • Perform the role of Strategic Liaison for the Region and work closely with SDs on execution of initiatives and child account/show coverage.
  • Involved in select Staff Calls, and Weekly Reporting
  • Travel required as determined by the GM

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 2+ years of Industry, or S&S | Prime Line experience. Past experience of leading a team, or group of individuals to achieve a common goal.
  • Thorough knowledge of Prime Line value proposition, systems, product offering, competitive landscape, and sales cycle.
  • Proven/demonstrated ability to work independently and/or in a team/matrix environment, handle multiple demands and continually changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated excellent skills in planning, time management, decision making, presenting, problem solving, conflict resolution and communications.
  • Ability to work effectively with other functional areas of the business to exceed customer expectations.
  • Demonstrates high level reasoning skills with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a number of variables in situations of limited standardization. Able to interpret instructions presented in a variety of formats.

 

 

Minimum Expectations/Requirements of Position:

 In order to be successful as a Outside Sales Manager with Prime Line employees are expected to meet or exceed the following key performance indicators after 30 days of assuming responsibility of the role:

 

  • Customer Engagement: must ensure that current Outside Sales Team is at 100%  in touch and being managed appropriately.
  • Coaching: Formal coaching sessions to be completed per Outside Sale Team, on a monthly basis. This is to be done with the GM.
  • Attitude: Must maintain a positive outlook, and be looked at a resource and mentor to all team members in the region
  • Organization: Expected to be able to delegate requests appropriately, and meet all project due dates accordingly
