Summary

The Enterprise Imaging Architect is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive imaging strategies that align with the organization’s business objectives. This role involves developing and managing imaging systems and solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient. The Enterprise Imaging Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate imaging solutions across various platforms and ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Design:
  • Develop and execute the overall imaging strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design scalable and robust imaging solutions that meet business needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend new imaging technologies and tools to enhance system capabilities.
  • System Architecture and Integration:
  • Architect and oversee the integration of imaging systems with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure that imaging solutions are compatible with other enterprise applications and databases.
  • Design and implement data management strategies for storing, retrieving, and securing imaging data.
  • Project Management:
  • Lead and manage imaging projects from concept through deployment, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that arise.
  • Standards and Compliance:
  • Develop and enforce imaging standards and best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure that imaging solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of imaging systems to ensure ongoing compliance and security.
  • Performance Optimization:
  • Analyze and optimize imaging system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implement performance monitoring and troubleshooting processes to address any issues proactively.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with IT teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure successful implementation and operation of imaging solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and end-users.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Training:
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for imaging systems, including architecture diagrams, configuration details, and operational procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for users and administrators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in IT architecture, with a focus on imaging systems or enterprise solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging technologies, data management, and system integration.
  • Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to imaging and data security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
