Prevention Consultant- Salary is Competitive

Location - Home based

Aviva have an exciting opportunity for a Prevention Consultant to join the Aviva Risk Management Solutions (ARMS) team, as part of their, Centre of Prevention Excellence (CoPE) team, who are responsible for supporting the management of risk improvements and helping share market-leading risk management services to Aviva and our clients.

A bit about the job:

This role-holder will act as a dedicated focal point that will support the management of risk improvements for our Customers, providing technical advice, and support in accordance with Group Underwriting and Risk Management policy and in support of Commercial’s business plans. We believe this is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving and established team in ARMS, with the opportunity to influence, shape and grow with the business, this with the backing of Aviva’s resources and reputation, as well as expand your knowledge of risk management and how it positively impacts customers. 

We’re also interested to hear from those who want to be a Risk Consultant of the future as this role has the very high potential for development into our ARMS Risk Consultancy teams.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven background and in-depth technical knowledge of insurance risk management for the relevant classes and the contingencies is desired

  • Demonstrated ability to work on your own, as well as part of a team, managing own workloads to deliver strategic goals

  • Well-developed personal qualities and soft skills including experience at influencing and negotiating with customers, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Working towards or desire to complete:

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety qualification or equivalent Property risk management qualifications
