About the Role
In this role, you will design highly scalable and high performing technology solutions in an Agile work environment and produce and deliver code and/or test cases using wide-ranging experience, professional concepts, company objectives and Agile practices. You will collaborate closely with key business support teams, product managers, architecture to assist in resolving complex critical cross-team and cross-domain production issues to help simplify and improve business processes through the latest in technology and automation. You are a technical expert and will lead through the requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support phases of a product. You will leverage your comprehensive knowledge of domain and core programming technologies or packages to mentor and advise team members.
What You'll Do
This role will primarily work with our senior devs and our stakeholders to design high-level solutions which provide identified roadmap items or architecture components, define and refine deliverable milestones for these items to ensure we’re delivering the right thing, prioritize our roadmap and backlog to ensure we’re delivering the right thing at the right time, implement and engineer software components for our deliverables, and most importantly, facilitate our team’s skill-up and growth in these and all related areas. This role will additionally provide the same product ownership and software contributions to work efforts which support our users and partners – which will occasionally involve firefighting and diagnostics. In short – clarify and shape our future, design systems, collaborate with our team to build and systems, and above all things, actively be an agent of change - drive skill-up, growth, and culture change toward working effectively, sustainably, and continuously improving.

· Bonus points: parameterized Jenkins pipelines, yaml-based pipelines
· The high-level design of a software solution in support of an architectural roadmap or a deliverable
· The implementation of an identified high-level design in software (e.g. software engineering) with robust, reliable, high-quality outputs and in following of best practices (e.g. automated testing/test-driven development, version control)
· Bonus points: SOLID design principles, implementing CI/CD in projects
· The use of Git and its patterns and practices (e.g. branching, merging, workflows)
· Bonus points: The use of GitHub and its related value-add functionality
· Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code patterns & tools (e.g. Terraform, GitOps)
Tools/skillsets that aren’t immediately critical but will need to be developed
· Containers (e.g. Docker) – what they are, developing them, hosting them, backing infrastructure
· C#, Dotnet – development of APIs & orchestration of automation
· Scripting (PowerShell, Bash) – maintenance and analysis of current script-based automation solutions
· Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates) – maintenance of current ARM-based automation and adoption of/migration to Terraform
