About This Opportunity

As Senior Territory Manager you will be part of our smart, diverse and fast-moving global team that is moving an industry forward, from analog to digital. We're doing complex work on an unprecedented scale, with innovative products including Invisalign clear aligners and the highly advanced iTero intraoral scanner.

You will manage a defined sales territory for Align Technology and sell directly to Orthodontists, transforming an analog process with clear aligners and innovative digital solutions that make straightening teeth easier, faster, and more accessible - helping practitioners grow their business and increase patient satisfaction

You understand that selling isn’t just about talking, you know that you need to listen as well so that you can fully understand and meet your customers' needs.

In this role, you will…

  • Mentor, support and assist less experienced Territory Managers as needed
  • Onboard new hire TM’s (new hire “buddy”) - responsible for successful implementation of new hire onboarding plan
  • Support leadership/marketing with regional or local initiatives/ special projects as assigned
  • Contribute to local projects as Sales Champion & Change agent
  • Assist with local/country training needs in the field
  • Demonstrate sales leadership through mentorship and coaching to others
  • Ensure goals are met through support and accountability. Set example for others by showing up on time and encourages others to be punctual.
  • Exhibit awareness of financial, operational, and business concepts; assess risk and opportunity.
  • Embrace a mindset of caring, empathy and service to team, internal Align customers and external customers.
  • Lead the successful implementation of new business practices or ideas.
  • Engage in logical and systematic thinking to develop meaningful plans for executing goals.
  • Act as back-up for ASM, if/when needed

In this role, you’ll need …

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years outside business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
  • Industry experience selling a medical device, capital equipment, dental, orthodontic, or other relevant B2B experience preferred.
  • Typically performed 3+ years in a (multiple channel) TM role
