Purpose:
Weir ESCO is undergoing several initiatives across global finance and accounting functions to streamline and standardize processes. One of these is the implementation of OneStream for corporate financial planning. This job will help lead development of enhancement, administration, and support of OneStream across our global user base.
This opportunity requires a self-motivated professional who is eager to continue learning the OneStream technology and is comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The OneStream Developer role will collaborate with key team members to help with the design and implementation of solutions that align with business objectives, including the development of new application functionality and fixes.

Key Responsibilities:
Onestream SME: OneStream application development (e.g. business rules, forms, workflows, cube views, and member formulas). Build and maintain OneStream data integrations, transformations, and automations using APIs. Actively participate in OneStream and CPM user groups for personal development and maintain awareness of new best practices and emerging technologies.
Communication: Liaison with Finance/Accounting and IT to identify and design application improvements to streamline, standardize and automate reporting processes. Provide production support including communication of technical issues and fixes to colleagues and customers of varying backgrounds that can be understood by all
Build, Validate & Test: Provide input and expertise on architecting and designing system enhancements or creating new functionality in scalable deployments. Prepare test cases and effectively conduct unit testing, including interacting with admin or business users to validate results for system projects, bug fixes and enhancements.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), business controls, and IT change management processes and procedures. Create and maintain technical documentation and support procedures for supported applications and systems.
Financial Acumen: Familiarity with Finance and Accounting business processes across close, planning and reporting to provide a bridge between business and technical systems/teams.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting/Finance, or equivalent work experience. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with OneStream application development (e.g. Planning)
Experience with VB.net, Visual Basic, python, and SQL
Proven experience with business rules, forms, workflows, cube views, custom calculations, and data integrations using OneStream software
Knowledge of financial budgeting and forecasting processes, including allocations and driver-based calculations
Experience working with finance organizations, with a solid understanding of the nature of work performed by financial analysts, controllers, finance directors, and CFOs
Experience in successful process and system improvement initiatives
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including data reconciliation, are required
Proven ability to work within tight time frames and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience understanding and managing master data hierarchies and members
Experience with EPM/CPM tool report building, a plus
Experience with Hyperion or other financial systems other than Onestream, a plus.
