Job description

Join us as a Working Student IT Support (m/f/d) in our Digital Workplace team in Hamburg on a shared journey that matters!

You will join the Digital Workplace team at MOIA, which connects the workforce through digital technologies and the best-in-breed workplace solutions. We have MDM in place, using Okta for identity management and Microsoft 365 and Slack to collaborate. We run everything in the cloud, avoid on‐premises hardware, and we use SSO and MFA for all services wherever possible. This IT infrastructure provides a solid foundation for growth. 

The role and your impact at MOIA 
  • Support day-to-day IT requests and questions in our Hamburg office 
  • Assist with newbie onboarding and offboarding 
  • Contribute to Digital Workspace projects 
  • Monitor the IT Support queue for requests and resolve arising IT issues and questions 
  • Help with the audio-visual setup of bigger hybrid meetings and events 

Job responsibilities and detailed projects will be determined based on your educational background, interests and skills. 

What will help you to fulfill your role  
  • You are currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's or Master's program in Germany 
  • Previous experience with at least one of our key tech areas (Okta, MacOS, Jamf, M365, Atlassian suite) 
  • Experience with troubleshooting software and hardware issues in MacOS / Apple environment 
  • Good knowledge of computing and networking infrastructure elements and concepts 
  • Experience or with IT security best practices (multi-factor authentication, identity providers, single-sign-on) 
  • Approachable, enjoys helping others with a solution-oriented attitude 
  • Motivated to learn and not afraid to offer ideas and try new approaches 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English & German
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams for video conferencing and hybrid events is a plus 
  • Experience with writing and maintaining end-user facing guides is a plus 
  • Experience with data protection guidelines is a plus
