About the Role:

As an Indirect Purchasing Consultant at Belmont Lavan Ltd, you will be a key player in enhancing our procurement processes for indirect goods and services. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to optimize supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and improve procurement efficiency across the organization. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that their purchasing needs are met while adhering to the company's policies and strategies.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for indirect purchasing categories.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contract terms.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in the procurement function.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in indirect procurement or purchasing.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
