About Bedrock
Bedrock is operationalizing the largest Earth-exploration mission in human history. We're doing that by developing robotics & software to explore, map, and classify the entirety of Earth's ocean floor. The oceans are a critical component of climate stabilization. Our hope is to provide critical subsea data and infrastructure to further understand and predict the fundamental forces that support harmonious human existence on this planet.
About You And The Role
The ocean covers over 70% of our planet - we need the sea to survive - but despite its importance we know little about it. Over 70% of the ocean has never been mapped!
The truth is that humans know more about the surfaces of the Moon and Mars than our own ocean floor. We at Bedrock think that needs to change. Quickly.
To tackle this mission, we're using autonomous submarines and our cloud platform to drive understanding of the ocean. To help us scale, we're looking for a Business Development Manager to join us!
Reporting directly to the COO, the Business Development Manager will help drive sales efforts and strategy across all commercial verticals.
In this role, you will work closely with Government Relations, Product, Marketing, Technology, Finance & Legal teams to align sales strategy with technical capabilities and bandwidth. Developing a strategy for both US and international sales, the Business Development Manager will own the go-to-market and capture process from ideation through contract signing, to ongoing account management and growth.
If you want to do innovative work with new and compelling challenges, then join us!
