Job Summary
Nao Medical is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a specialization in managing and responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs). This role requires a dynamic individual who understands the nuances of the tech industry, with a solid background in sales, marketing, and strategic proposal writing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the RFP process from understanding requirements, to submission and follow-up.
Primary Responsibilities
Team Management: Lead the end-to-end RFP process, including coordination with cross-functional teams to prepare timely and competitive responses.
Strategic Business Growth: Identify new business opportunities and partnerships through diligent analysis of market trends and competitive insights.
Lead Generation: Proactively seek out prospective clients and projects, initiating contact and nurturing those relationships to secure RFP opportunities.
Proposal Writing: Craft persuasive and comprehensive responses to RFPs that highlight the strengths and uniqueness of our software solutions.
Partnership Development: Foster long-term relationships with clients, from the initial RFP to the final stages of negotiation and closure.
Sales Targets: Achieve and surpass sales goals by enhancing our win rates through strategic RFP submissions.
Client Engagement: Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and tailor proposal responses that meet their specific requirements.
Reporting and Management: Maintain a pipeline of RFPs and provide regular updates on proposal status, win rates, and client feedback to senior management.
Feedback Implementation: Incorporate client and internal feedback into future proposals to enhance overall success rates.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred: MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Certifications: APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification is a plus.
Required: Minimum of 5 years in business development, with at least 2 years focused on RFPs within the tech sector.
Exceptional Writing Skills: Strong ability to produce clear, persuasive, and concise proposals under tight deadlines. Requires very strong English skills.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing RFP requirements and synthesizing information into compelling proposals.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to negotiate and persuade clients and stakeholders.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with digital tools with a knack for quickly learning new technologies.
Strategic Planning: Experience in strategic planning and execution of complex sales strategies.
Tech Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the software and technology sector with an ability to identify emerging trends.

Reliable wired internet connection with a speed of at least 100 Mbps.
Computer/laptop with a minimum of Intel Core i3 processor or equivalent. Having a dual screen for increased productivity is a plus.
Operating system: Windows 10 or macOS (latest version) with regular updates.
RAM: Minimum 4 GB, preferably 8 GB or more for smoother multitasking.
Hard drive: At least 128 GB of free storage space for software and data.
Functioning webcam and microphone for clear communication.
Updated antivirus software to ensure data security and protection against cyber threats. Having a VPN is preferred but not required.
Reliable backup systems for electricity and internet outages in place.
