About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the European project delivery team to assist in the design and implementation of our Horizon Europe projects’ tasks and deliverables. 


This is a remote-based role in Europe employed by Inventya Ventures in Ireland.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote project visibility and engagement across various platforms.
  • Efficiently compose, revise, and refine a wide range of communication materials, including website content, social media posts, news articles, press releases, stakeholder briefings, presentations, and other necessary outputs to support project delivery.
  • Craft compelling contents that translate complex scientific and technological concepts into accessible information for the target audience. 
  • Create a unique and compelling tone of voice for each project, ensuring it resonates with the target audience and stands out in the competitive landscape.
  • Strategically manage and expand stakeholder engagement through targeted outreach initiatives and the cultivation of robust partnerships. Gain an understanding of stakeholder dynamics to facilitate effective communication and collaborative events that align with project goals.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, including software developers and scientific researchers, to ensure accurate and impactful dissemination of information.
  • Utilise social media and other digital tools to amplify our message, engage with stakeholders, and attract new followers to projects.
  • Monitor, analyse and propose improvements to social media metrics and SEO.
  • Regularly liaise with partners to foster collaboration and ensure consistent communication efforts.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in communication, marketing or public relations, ideally within a scientific or technological domain. Knowledge in at least one of the following key technologies is a plus: AI, robotics, medical devices, wearable technology, and hydrogen technology.
  • Experience in implementing communication for EU projects (e.g. Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe) is highly desirable.
  • Strong multi-disciplinary skill set with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to decipher complex information for general audiences.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, event management, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with the European innovation ecosystem and R&D funding landscape is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team.
