Job description

This is a remote position.

Millennial Assistants is looking to expand our network of freelance sales assistants!

We work with assistants of various levels of experience. As a Sales assistant with Millennial Assistants, you'll be responsible for providing sales and marketing support for our sales and marketing teams, as well as our clients' teams. 

Who you are: 

- You have a good understanding of sales and marketing processes, pipelines, and campaigns
- You're excited by sales processes, but maybe not a fan of knocking on doors anymore
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and an excitement for making a difference in the world by helping grow small businesses
- You have excellent attention to detail and a desire to produce high-quality, accurate work - your friends and clients would enthusiastically label you a perfectionist! 
- You have an understanding of how being an independent contractor works - you are your own business 
- You're a self-starter who frequently says, "I don't know how to do that, but I'll figure it out!"  
- You're tech savvy and require minimal oversight 
- You take pride in your ability to create your own systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy

Responsibilities may include: 

Setting up marketing campaigns with direction from the marketing manager
Creating email templates Responding to inquiries from LinkedIn or other social media campaigns (no phones)
Providing assistance to teams working on various types of sales and marketing campaigns
Accurately and efficiently entering data into various database systems, including CRMs or spreadsheets 
Typing/recreating data provided directly from customers
Verifying data by comparing it to source documents
Retrieving data from databases or electronic files
Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
Maintaining filing systems Communicating and collaborating with management and other teams 
Taking direction and feedback from managers when given 


Contractors with Millennial Assistants are their own boss and business - they set their own hours, accept or decline projects, and can work with their own clients outside of Millennial Assistants. Millennial Assistants makes no guarantee on volume of project availability or amount of money that can be made with us. We are an agency that partners with contractors/freelancers who are notified when work is available. 


Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be a self starter who requires little direction or oversight (there's a lot of creative freedom here!)
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to accurately type at least 50WPM
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Basic understanding of databases 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, works efficiently
  • High commitment to maintaining confidentiality 
  • Ability to pass Millennial Assistants skills assessments and tests
