Job description

z systems programmer

A well-known large corporation is hiring for z systems programmer. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and upgrading the zOS Operating System and supporting users.
    • Providing z/VM hosting support for z/OS and z/VSE Guest systems
    • Debug and resolve Mainframe operating system software issues (across older to current z/OS levels)
    • Responsible for Dataset/Storage/Disk/Tape management (allocation, backup, restore, etc.)

    Requirements

    • Atleast 2 years relevant experience
      • zOS experience with JES2 and JES3
