Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join the Collins Mission Systems Capital Team. This position will be within the Collins Aerospace Mission Systems Collins organization, supporting Investments. In this role, you will expect to lead FP&A reporting & analysis, interfacing with Mission Systems Portfolio functional and Finance leadership to facilitate deadlines and accountability, and monitoring variance analysis and reporting for Capital, NBI, IRAD and Overhead investments.  You will collaborate with several FP&A peers and key team members as well as Finance Directors & FP&A Managers to monitor & update Short Range Outlook Risks and Opportunities, monthly forecast updates, annual operating plan development, and long-range planning.

What You Will Do
    • Daily communication & partnering with Product Management and CAM’s/IPTL’s to provide personal involvement in the successful planning and execution of investment projects
    • Responsible for financial planning, variance analysis, data validation and reporting, Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development and supporting proposal development
    • Actively identify and assess risks with the potential to impact cost and/or schedule and for providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the capital portfolio

Qualifications You Must Have
    • Minimum 8 + years related Finance/Accounting experience to include experience (Financial Planning & Analysis, Cost Analysis, Budgeting)
    • Government contractor industry experience with knowledge of both government accounting (FAR, CAS) and Internal Controls
    • Familiarity with SAP
    • Good organizational skills in coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities
    • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
    • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop applied solutions and process improvements
    • Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence in a matrix organization
    • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
