About our Team

This role reports directly to the Director of Strategy for Payment Solutions

About the Role

This position is responsible for driving strategic activity geared at supporting the continued capture of serviceable, obtainable market (SOM) and expansion of their serviceable available market (SAM) within our Payments solution segment.  They will do this by way of establishing and executing intentional merchant service strategies, supporting the overall Payments solution strategy. This position must be a digital payment subject matter expert, particularly for the U.S. Government markets.

They must take the initiative to explore and exploit opportunities with merchant partners as well as operational effectiveness and efficiencies.  They will ensure organizational alignment with the Payment solution strategy by establishing and tracking KPI’s, holding themselves and all parties accountable for their part of the plan. They will effectively communicate updates, successes, failures, lessons learned, etc. to all stakeholders.  They are also responsible for strengthening their personal brand as well as LNRS brand to external audiences.  They will always demonstrate executive presence.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain partnerships across payment providers, card networks, technology providers, and regulatory bodies.
  • The management of payment provider and card network audits, AML, and KYC processes ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
  • Lead comprehensive business reviews and executive briefings to highlight delivered value, address challenges, and identify future opportunities.
  • Negotiate, and execute contracts ensuring alignment with organizational needs and successful partnership execution.
  • Produce and effectively communicate insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve business or operational performance, drive understanding of issues, and provide strategic guidance related to various payments services with our partners.
  • Coordinate/lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Sales, Support) to resolve escalations, clarify requirements, and integrate partner solutions.
  • Communicate with clarity and executive presence across internal and external stakeholders to inspire alignment and consensus
  • Leverage partnerships to enhance product capabilities, expand market reach, and drive revenue growth.
  • Establish KPIs to track the success and impact of partnerships, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Support innovation by identifying and substantiating new opportunities that enhance product capabilities and expand market reach
  • Represent market leadership externally to elevate your personal brand, the solution segment, and the LNRS brand

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree.
  • 5+ years’ experience within the payments industry.
  • 5+ years’ developing strategic relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of the Payments Systems in the U.S. as well as a broad understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills with experience in contract negotiation, licensing agreements, and revenue-sharing models.
  • Well-versed in effective techniques and strategies for running enterprise account management programs.
  • Analytical skills to review, interpret, and present financial and operational reports and dashboards.
  • A result-focused professional with a passion for meeting and exceeding key performance objectives.
  • Advanced business/financial acumen.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively cultivate relationships.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day risk, identify issues, and develop alternatives to determine the most effective course of action.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with C-suite executives, product teams, and external partners.
  • The ability to travel as needed for partner meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
  • Have enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential.

Position is eligible for base salary plus an annual bonus.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Minnesota, Hawaii, and Colorado: $77300 - 128700 USD

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Illinois, Maryland and Washington: $81200 - 135200 USD

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California and Washington DC: $88900 - 148000 USD

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for New York and New Jersey: $85000 - 141600 USD
