The Data Privacy Specialist  (f/m/d) will implement the operational data protection strategies for locations in Concentrix DACH Region (including Austria, Bosnia, Germany, Hungary, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland). You will be a specialist in all matters relating to data protection in these countries for internal and external enquiries. Using your expertise for the further development of processes, guidelines or internal training and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and specifications.

You will take over these exciting responsibilities remotely, in the comfort of your home in Germany.

What you will do in this role

·       Ensure compliance with the data protection laws, guidelines and processes as well as monitoring and documentation of data protection activities including partnership with relevant internal stakeholders like Legal and Workers Council teams

·       Support and advise in the areas of privacy by design and privacy by default, for example with internal IT developments in national and international environments

·       Create data protection impact assessments in accordance with DSGVO/GDPR and document internal processes, e.g. on infringements, policies and new applications

·       Preparation, monitoring and follow-up of regular external and internal audits as well as preparation of plans for the elimination of findings from the audits and their implementation are also part of your responsibilities

·       Further development of guidelines, processes, compliance and risk controls and corresponding tests

·       Development and implementation of data protection training courses

This role will suit a data protection professional with relevant experience in privacy/data protection gained in the EU/UK, ideally in Germany, used to dealing with multiple stakeholders, and having excellent communication skills in German on a native/bilingual level and very good in English as well.


You will either have solid certification in privacy/data protection and/or a successfully completed business law studies and experience or comparable qualification.

·       Proven experience (at least 5 years) in privacy/data protection gained in the EU/UK, ideally in Germany and including successful interaction with various stakeholders like workers council

·       Very good knowledge of the relevant data protection laws (DSGVO/GDPR, BDSG-neu, TMG etc.)

·       You love to bring your excellent communication and presentation skills into national and international project groups

·       You have a confident appearance and enjoy the variety of divers professional challenges

·       Languages required (both are mandatory on the stated level): German C2 (bilingual/native) & English B2 or above (very good)

·       Entrepreneurial thinking, decision-making strength and understanding of business processes

·       Great drive, composure, and focus in a fast-paced working environment with competing deadlines, strong autonomy and responsibility

·       Confident to work on your own initiative whilst demonstrating your analytical strengths

·       Occasional travel may be involved (e.g. 2 days every 2-3 months)
