Role: Business Development Representative (Performance-based Incentive)
As a Part-Time Business Development Representative, you’ll be the face and voice of Mandaala to global merchandise companies based in the US that execute corporate merchandise programs for multinational companies. We are interested in fulfilling merchandise for their customers in the APAC region by partnering with the global merchandise company.
Your primary objective will be to generate new business opportunities by securing meetings between Mandaala’s leadership team and key decision-makers at these organisations. You’ll nurture these opportunities, keep the momentum going, and guide them toward successful partnerships. In short, you’ll be a connector, a strategist, and a deal-shaper, helping Mandaala expand its global footprint, one conversation at a time.
What You’ll Do?
Lead Generation & Outreach - Be the Connector
Spot the right people in global merchandise firms as per Mandaala’s ICP, spark conversations, and get them excited about how Mandaala can revolutionise their corporate gifting programs in the APAC region. Think of yourself as the matchmaker between Mandaala and its next big client!
Seal the Deal (Discovery Meetings!)
Land at least two high-quality meetings per month with senior decision-makers and Mandaala leadership.
Keep the Momentum Going
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential partnerships through strategic outreach and relationship-building. Guide prospects through the journey and keep them engaged, share insights, and make sure every conversation brings them closer to saying, "Let’s do this!"
Market Insights & Strategy (Be Our Industry Insider)
Provide feedback on industry trends, keep track of competitors (ethically, of course!), and look out for partnership opportunities to refine Mandaala’s global expansion strategy.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
Experience: A Seasoned Pro
You’ve spent at least 6 years in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally in the corporate merchandise, promotional products, or SaaS world.
A Global Thinker
You understand how multinational enterprises run their merchandise programs and can navigate the complexities of international business with ease. Bonus points if you’ve worked with global merchandise providers before!
Strong Network
Your network is your superpower. You know the right people, or you know how to find them. Building relationships? That’s just what you do!
Communication & Negotiation
Whether it’s a CEO, CHRO, procurement head, or global merchandise partner, you know how to talk their language and steer conversations toward success.
A Master Communicator & Negotiator: A Closer
You have a proven track record of meeting (or smashing) sales and partnership goals.
Location & Availability: A Time-Zone Ninja
You’re based in the US and can flex your schedule to engage with global partners. This part-time role (10-15 hours per week) fits perfectly into your dynamic lifestyle, and performance-based incentives make the hustle even sweeter!
