Position: Podcast Producer (Audio & YouTube Production)

Work for a dynamic media team dedicated to delivering high-quality podcast content across audio platforms and YouTube. With an expanding slate of shows and a growing audience, we’re looking for a hands-on Podcast Producer to join this crew. You’ll work alongside their incoming YouTube marketing specialist—who will mentor you on YouTube best practices, while you take ownership of end-to-end podcast production.
As our Podcast Producer, you will plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of podcast creation and production, ensuring each episode is delivered on time, on brand, and on platform. You’ll collaborate with hosts, editors, and marketers to craft compelling audio and video podcast experiences.
Pre-Production:
Develop episode outlines, scripts, and production schedules
Coordinate guest outreach, booking, and briefing
Manage recording logistics (remote and/or in-studio)
Production Management:
Oversee recording sessions to ensure audio quality and performance standards
Liaise with audio/video engineers to capture raw tracks
Post-Production Oversight:
Review/edit rough cuts for flow, clarity, and style
Ensure consistent audio leveling, noise reduction, and mixing quality
Upload finalized episodes to hosting platforms (e.g. Libsyn, Anchor)
YouTube Coordination:
Work with the team to adapt audio episodes into YouTube-optimized content
Provide feedback on video edits, chapter markers, and metadata
Publishing & Distribution:
Schedule and publish episodes across podcast directories (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, etc.)
Upload and optimize YouTube episodes (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails)
Quality Assurance & Analytics:
Conduct QA checks on published episodes (links, artwork, show notes)
Monitor performance metrics (downloads, watch time, engagement) and report insights
Process Improvement:
Maintain and refine production workflows, checklists, and style guides
Identify and implement tools or techniques to streamline production
Must-Have:
2+ years’ experience producing and managing podcasts end-to-end
Comfortable with both audio platforms (e.g. Libsyn, Anchor) and YouTube workflows
Strong project-management skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with audio-editing software (Adobe Audition, Audacity, etc.)
Basic video-editing knowledge (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
Understanding of RSS feeds, metadata, and podcast SEO
Collaborate with passionate hosts, editors, and marketers
