Overview:

Rewst is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automation Strategist to join our rapidly growing team. As an Automation Advisor at Rewst, you will work with our clients to help them reach their automation goals, including strategizing and advising on what to automate and how to implement it. 

Automation Advisor’s play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our MSP partners by understanding their unique needs through the customer journey from onboarding all the way to advocacy. This role requires a deep understanding of MSP’s processes and environments, excellent communication and technical skills, and a passion for eliminating manual processes. 

Responsibilities: 

Automation Guidance 

  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to determine areas that can benefit from automation. 

  • Using your strong knowledge of building automations and scripting, assist clients in strategizing potential approaches to automation goals and building custom workflows. 

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements with existing automations. 

  • Provide clients with both technical enablement and support during implementation of the solution and new automations. 

  • Quickly become familiar with the APIs for multiple toolsets related to customer use cases and use knowledge of those endpoints to provide guidance on how to automate key processes 

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:  

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations. 

  • Work closely with clients to establish deep technical knowledge of their environments and processes. 

  • Encourage and support automation concepts and education within client organizations. 

Project Management: 

  • Assist clients in creating strategic automation adoption plans. 

  • Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. 

  • Act as both a strategic and secondary technical point of contact, providing high level insights while capturing key technical details of automation projects. 

Qualifications: 
  • Automation, scripting, programming, and IT experience. 

  • Broad experience with APIs, specifically around their application to build automated processes and connect different toolsets 

  • Proven experience with technical account management or a similar customer-facing roles within the IT industry. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

  • Deep understanding of Managed Services Providers' processes and challenges. 

  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot technical problems. 

Bonus Points: 
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools like Rewst. 

  • Experience using Python, Jinja, SQL, PowerShell or other programming skillsets.
