Job description

Our team is composed of PMHNPs, fully licensed therapists and resident-level therapists. We specialize in mental and behavioral health treatment for kids, teens, young adults and families currently living in Maryland. 

Position Summary

We are seeking a fee-for-service Pediatric PMHNP to join our team to provide medication management for children and adolescents in the state of Maryland who are experiencing mental health disorders or emotional disturbances. The PMHNP will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and monitoring patients' progress.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience providing medication management for children and adolescents with mental health disorders with full prescriptive authority 
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Maryland
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents to assess their mental health needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients’ needs and preferences
  • Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor their efficacy and side effects
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community organizations to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation
  • Attend meeting sand training sessions as required by the organization
  • Provide fee-for-service medication management services to patients

Compensation

$100/intake

$40/medication follow & admin
