Job description

OneMarketData is seeking a Tech Support Engineer to join our Implementation Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our clients through product implementations, ensuring the seamless deployment and operation of our solutions in AWS-hosted environments and customer systems. Your technical expertise will help clients integrate and maintain our products, while you’ll collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and develop client-specific solutions. Tech Stack:

  • OneTick: Proprietary time series database & streaming analytics engine
  • Languages/Tools: Python 3, Pytest, JupyterHub, PyCharm (or other IDEs)
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow
  • Monitoring & Analytics: Sentry, Grafana, Prometheus
  • CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD
  • Collaboration Tools: Jira, Confluence (Scrum-based approach)

What You'll Do:

  • Customer Support & Troubleshooting: Assist customers with their daily operations, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to product installation, configuration, and performance.
  • Customization of Products: Write client-specific code on top of our core product offerings, adapting the product to meet customer requirements and optimizing their solutions.
  • Client Installation & Configuration: Guide clients through product installations and configurations, ensuring that their systems are set up for success.
  • Ongoing Maintenance & Issue Resolution: Maintain existing setups and collaborate with the product development team to fix code issues, ensuring that solutions remain effective and efficient over time.
  • Client Communications: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues, providing clear communication and timely resolutions for implementation-related queries.
  • SLA Management: Ensure that client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, prioritizing tasks and issues to maintain high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Automation of Daily Routine: Identify opportunities for process automation to streamline daily tasks, improve system efficiency, and reduce manual intervention for both clients and internal teams.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze and resolve technical challenges effectively.
  • Python Expertise: Proficiency in Python programming with the ability to understand and modify product code to meet client needs.
  • Product Understanding: Ability to comprehend complex product code and how it integrates into client environments.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to clients and internal teams.
  • Support Experience: Prior experience in client-facing support roles, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Linux Proficiency: A solid understanding of Linux systems for both troubleshooting and system maintenance tasks.
  • Detail-Oriented: A meticulous and goal-driven approach, with the ability to balance independent work and collaborative efforts to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Willingness to Learn: An eagerness to learn our proprietary technologies (OneTick) and engage directly with customers to ensure their needs are met.
