Our thought-forward, Big Data team is working on a number of data architecture and software-solution projects. You will join this high-caliber team as a Technical Development Manager who will work with our clients to implement software-based solutions to fit their needs.

About the Job:
Our client is currently seeking a Technical Development Manager with a strong understanding of Agile Methodology and Software Engineering projects to support our client. The right candidate will possess a passion for technology and the ability to understand and assess new technologies.

About You:
This position will be a great fit for someone with a proven track record of driving enterprise scale IT projects, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, setting timelines, holding people accountable and delivering projects on-time and on-budget. Your leadership will help guide the completion of complex solutions created in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:
Be the point-of--contact for client leadership and technical teams to help define project requirements and identify solutions consistent with defined terms, methodology, policy, and regulations.
Lead the assigned team through the development of a project plan deliver the identified solution and produce expected planning documentation
Monitor complex Software Engineering projects on an ongoing basis - evaluating progress, quality, and delivery timelines
Manage resource plan and identify resource risks or blockers.
Capture meeting minutes and actions items. Distribute action items as required and manage to completion.
Communicate project status to clients, management, and partners as appropriate..
Provide personnel with timely, constructive, and actionable feedback that increases individual and team effectiveness.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Background in hands-on Engineering (Java, QA, JS, etc)
Strong knowledge of Java and AWS
5+ years of related experience

Working with tight deadlines and handling potential escalation
