Job description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior R Developer (f/m/d) to help us develop our R-based toolchain for a cutting-edge modeling and simulation software platform within an interdisciplinary environment as part of the core development team of the cross-industry, open-source project “Open Systems Pharmacology” Suite (OSP Suite with PK-Sim®, MoBi®, and R Packages, www.open-systems-pharmacology.org).

ESQlabs is an innovative, internationally acting Contract Research Organization and a global leader in the development and application of the OSP Suite (www.open-systems-pharmacology.org). We are a research-focused provider of specialized computational analyses in the life sciences industry.

Role

  • Development of R packages for modeling and simulation workflows with mathematical models created with the OSP software (integration of R and .NET)
  • Development of R packages for parameter estimation for mathematical models (leveraging machine learning, non-linear mixed effects, log-likelihood, Bayesian modeling)
  • Solutions for data visualization (ggplot, etc.) and reporting (RMarkdown/Quarto)
  • Shiny applications
  • Compilation of training material for internal and external users

In this role, you can help redefine the standards for analysis workflows used for M&S and data analysis in the Life Sciences. With your contribution, we aim to make this software the market leader and a go-to tool for the industry.

You can find a selection of R packages developed by or with ESQlabs:
