Job description

Our Client is seeking a flexible and resourceful Learning Project Manager to join their team to support their Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives. You will have an impactful role coordinating and supporting several new learning programs, such as their Values Learning Series, Cultural Intelligence, Leadership Development workshops, and ongoing Monthly Lunch and Learns.

Assignment Overview
  • Location: Remote, USA. San Francisco Bay Area local is ideal but not required. Must be able to work Pacific Time zone hours (occasional meetings starting as early as 7:00–7:30 am PT).
  • Commitment: Approximately 40 hours per week. This is a temporary 1099 contract lasting around 20 weeks, with the potential for extension through the end of the year.
  • Compensation: $50 -$65 per hour.
  • Start Date: Immediate start preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Manage, schedule, and organize logistics for L&D programs and events supporting a dynamic, high-performing team. Includes tracking timelines and deliverables for multiple learning tracks.
  • Program Logistics: Coordinate sessions, set up meetings, support breakout rooms in Zoom, confirm speaker details, coordinate with vendors, and ensure seamless session execution.
  • Learning Design Collaboration: Contribute your learning design expertise to help evolve and improve program content and delivery, providing feedback and participating in iterative design processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a central point of contact for facilitators, leaders, and company stakeholders. Facilitate communication across teams, align resources, and monitor project progress.
  • Session Support: Sit in on live virtual events, provide technical support, foster engagement in breakout sessions, and assist in real-time problem solving during programs.
  • Feedback & Analysis: Gather and analyze participant data, summarize session results, and help implement program improvements based on feedback.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of professional experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or Program/Project Management within a corporate setting.
  • Proven ability to run multiple projects, facilitate learning sessions, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Comfort with both strategic thinking and hands-on execution—this is a “scrappy” role requiring flexibility, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Technology savvy and experienced with video conferencing platforms (Zoom required), Microsoft Office, learning management systems, and online collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication skills—confident in interacting with executives, speakers, vendors, and learners at all levels.
  • Demonstrated analytic ability for gathering and synthesizing learning feedback and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Willingness to work early Pacific hours as needed, with flexibility and a positive, adaptive attitude. Experience working with remote/distributed teams a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience working with organizations with a young, dynamic culture—ability to rapidly build rapport and credibility.
  • Prior exposure to Leadership Development, Cultural Intelligence, and Values-based learning programs is a strong plus.
  • Comfort supporting both design and delivery of learning content (combination of instructional design and project management exposure).
  • Ability to work independently with sound judgment and minimal oversight.
