Position Summary:

An Interdisciplinary course focused on Positive Education which seeks to embed the principles and practices of strength-based methods/methodology and promote flourishing learning environments for students and educators. In this course, learners will explore individual and collective strengths to optimize institutional culture and maximize teaching and learning potential.

 

Qualifications – Required: Master’s degree

Qualifications – Areas of Specialization: Positive education; psychology and/or educational psychology
Qualifications - Other: Refereed publications, published works, unpublished theses, and/or conference presentations in the area of positive education, education, and positive psychology preferred but not essential. Previous university teaching experience strongly preferred.

Salary: $5,554.87

This appointment is in accordance with the Contract Teaching Faculty and Part-time Librarians Collective Agreement, for which the Wilfrid Laurier Faculty Association (WLUFA) is the exclusive bargaining agent.  All applicants are assessed using both the “Appendix H: Assessment of CTF Candidates under 13.6.1” in the collective agreement and the program specific rubric.
