Fullstack Developer (Python + Golang)

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a focus on Python, Golang, React.js and microservices architecture. 
• Proven experience with Golang as your main backend language.
• Expertise in Python development, especially with Django REST Framework or similar frameworks. 
• Strong experience in front-end technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and ReactJS or Next.js
• Deep knowledge of SQL, specifically MySQL, with experience in complex queries and schema optimization.
• Background in data ingestion workflows, API integration, and working with structured/unstructured datasets.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and working with API integration. 
• Solid understanding of CI/CD (preferably via GitHub Actions) and containerization using Docker.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly with ECS Fargate, S3, RDS, IAM, and monitoring via CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability, and fault-tolerant systems. 
• Experience with unit/integration testing and writing quality, maintainable code. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in both front-end and back-end systems. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. 
• Ability to manage time effectively and deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.
• Proficiency in English, as the role requires direct communication with US-based clients.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain both backend services and frontend applications. 
• Build, implement, and scale microservices architectures that support high-performance, high-availability, and highly scalable systems. 
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define the best approaches and deliver quality software. 
• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Python (Django REST Framework) or Go and React.
• Work with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, HTML, and JavaScript to build responsive and intuitive user interfaces. 
• Work with data pipelines, ingesting and transforming data from sources like S3 and external APIs.
• Manage and optimize SQL queries in MySQL, ensuring efficient data access.
• Deploy and monitor applications using AWS ECS Fargate, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. 
• Focus on improving application performance, addressing bottlenecks, and ensuring efficient data flow across systems. 
• Write unit, integration, and system-level tests to ensure code reliability and quality. 
• Participate in code reviews, collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improvement, and provide technical guidance. 
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development.
