We are currently growing our team of Artisans with a Transition Manager for Rizon – A Refined Technologies Company. This pivotal role will play a key part in supporting the successful onboarding and scaling of new client accounts across refineries, petrochemical facilities, and terminals. This role will be responsible for bridging the gap between initial operational setup and full-scale commercialization, ensuring a smooth, efficient handoff that aligns with client expectations and RTI’s standards. This role demands a strong understanding of field operations, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Project Leadership - Take ownership of all transition initiatives, leading cross-functional efforts to ensure the successful launch and integration of new client accounts or operational processes.
· Cross-Functional Coordination - Collaborate closely with internal teams—including Supply Chain, Commercial, and Operations—as well as external partners to align on objectives, manage timelines, and deliver key milestones.
· Change Management - Lead the change management process to support the introduction and adoption of new chemicals, technologies, systems, and workflows across operational teams.
· Risk Mitigation - Proactively identify potential operational or safety risks during transitions and implement strategies to mitigate them. Ensure Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) are thoroughly completed, reviewed, and communicated.
· Process & Documentation Ownership - Oversee the development, accuracy, and maintenance of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training resources, and operational documentation critical to the transition process.
· Training Program Development - Design and implement robust training programs for new systems, technologies, and compliance protocols, ensuring teams are well-equipped to operate efficiently and safely.
· Onboarding Strategy - Create structured onboarding programs for new hires, emphasizing cultural alignment, operational excellence, and adherence to safety standards as the company continues to grow.
· Performance Tracking & Reporting - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of transition efforts and provide regular updates to leadership with actionable insights.
· Digital Enablement - Leverage digital platforms—such as the Rizon App, iView, and other emerging tools—to facilitate effective communication, training, and knowledge transfer for refinery personnel and clients.
Minimum Qualifications
· A minimum of ten years of fuel additive application experience or operations at a refinery or chemical plant
· Highly proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Must be familiar with operations of refineries or chemical plants. Able to:
o Confidently lead a team
o Become familiar with RTI technologies,
o Communicate clearly and effectively,
o Efficiently and effectively handle multiple activities at one time,
o Be comfortable meeting with client leadership,
o Perform field service/lab testing
Working Conditions / Physical Demands
The Company requires passing a pre-employment physical in which an objective medical professional will determine whether you can safely meet the physical demands of the position.
Duration of Workhours
· Typically, 9-hour workdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (including 1 hour for lunch) that may extend up to 12+ hours if an emergency need exists
· As needed based on contract scope, but normally 5 days on-site per week (Monday-Friday)
· Weekend coverage as needed
· Night shift as needed
Working Conditions
· Uneven or unstable ground, and wet, muddy, or slippery surfaces and footings.
· Outside locations in extreme temperatures and weather conditions including wind, rain, snow, and other forms of inclement weather.
· Routine, intermittent exposure to noise more than 85 dBA-TWA.
· Environments that may necessitate the use of respiratory protection
· Medical clearance to use respiratory protection is required.
· Quantitative fit testing for specific respiratory protection is required.
Physical Demands:
· Work at heights up to 150 ft/ 45m accessed via stairs, climbing ladders, or critical lifts by cranes. This requires the ability to climb ladders and stairs without issue.
· Lifting and carrying up to 40lbs., without assistance.
· Pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs., without assistance.
· Standing and walking for up to 12 to 16 hours daily with minimal rest breaks. May exceed 10,000 to 15,000 steps per day.
· Bending and stooping repeatedly and performing tasks including twisting or turning valves and using wrenches and hand tools.

Ability to travel to assigned customer account
