The Client, a leading direct-to-consumer pet insurance provider, is seeking an experienced and talented Outbound Marketing Specialist to join their team. As an Outbound Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase brand visibility and generate leads using paid digital marketing campaigns which can include paid search, display, video and social advertising channels.
The ideal candidate should be a digital native with at least 5 years of experience in digital marketing, and a strong background in a digital marketing agency or highly competitive online consumer business.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement outbound marketing strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives;
Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various platforms (PPC, display ads, social media ads, etc.);
Collaborate with other marketing team members to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand message across all assets and touchpoints;
Work with marketing and web-development teams to create high-performing landing pages and other necessary marketing tools;
Interpret campaign results, provide recommendations, and actionable insights, and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other elements of paid search;
Generate regular reports that measure key metrics such as ad spend, ROAS, campaign engagement, etc.;
Work with leadership to update forecasts and provide seasonality estimates;
Research competition, investigate benchmarks, and provide suggestions for improvement;
Discover, evaluate, and test new ad platforms;
Stay current on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in outbound marketing to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
Solid experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
Proven experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter, etc) and Social Media Advertsing (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc)
Experience working with all networks within the Google Adwords suite (Search, Display, Video and Shopping)
Experience with A/B testing and other testing metrics
At least 5 years of experience in outbound marketing, preferably in a digital marketing agency or a highly competitive online consumer business
Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyse and draw insights from data sets
Good knowledge of excel; comfortable in analysing data sets, formulas and pivot tables
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
Passion for staying current on cutting-edge digital marketing techniques and technologies
Other Qualifications/Bonus Requirements:
AdWords / Bing certification
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, other coding experience/fluency
Experience with UTMs, lead scoring, and funnel optimization
Understanding of SEO practices such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy
