Key responsibilities:

  • Develop new system and vehicle models and deploy them into simulation tools.
  • Support the design of vehicles and optimize setup and calibrations using system and vehicle models.
  • Communicate effectively with external groups such as Aerodynamics and Design to provide analysis-based direction and solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews and DFMEA to influence system designs for improved manufacturability.

Job description

Design Engineer- Vehicle architecture
  • Develop new system and vehicle models and deploy them into simulation tools.
  • Use system and vehicle models to support the design of the vehicles and optimise setup and calibrations.
  • To communicate effectively with external groups such as Aerodynamics and Design to provide them with objective, analysis-based direction and solutions.
  • Whole vehicle & systems engineering experience with automotive products and projects
  • Basic knowledge of Safety related standards is a plus
  • 4-6 years of experiences in Design & Develop of components for commercial vehicles or EVs.
  • Good communication skills and documentation of part and process defects.
  • Influence system designs to improve manufacturability and strengthen operations by participating in design reviews, DFMEA.
  • Proactively assessing design to improve for manufacturing
  • Proven ability to work with technical data and combine business skills with technical decision-making.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Sheetmetal Design using Unigraphics experience is must for the job.
  • BE in Mechanical or Automobile, Plastics Engineering OR Diploma/Post-Diploma in Mould Design or Tool & Die Design.
