Our client base is comprised of a wide variety of businesses, professional service firms, and non-profit organizations with 20-200 employees located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Many clients have national and international remote offices. Our primary headquarters is in San Ramon, CA. 


POSITION

In this position, we are looking to add a highly experienced individual to adhere to a superior level of technical expertise and customer service professionalism on Parachute’s IT Deployments team. This position is fully remote. The Deployments team is part of the Parachute Support Desk and is responsible for onboarding and offboarding client employees and computers. 


Deployments team members are located in both the US and Philippines and is an essential part of our company. Day-to-Day activities include working on escalations, coordinating internal mini projects and supporting the IT Deployments lead and team as needed. The ideal candidate will have solid tech skills, with the ability to quickly and efficiently triage issues. 


 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain the ImmyBot platform, including updating and customizing automation policies and scripts. 
  • Develop, review, and optimize PowerShell scripts to support automated desktop preparation, application deployment, and system configuration tasks. 
  • Maintain and structure client-specific variables and profiles to ensure consistent and reliable automation outcomes. 
  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams to identify opportunities for new automations and efficiency improvements. 
  • Monitor automation job performance, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions. 
  • Ensure all automation policies and scripts are tested, documented, and version-controlled. 
  • Act as the subject matter expert for ImmyBot, providing training and guidance to other technical staff as needed. 
  • Own all future automation tools related to user or computer deployments.  
  • Stay current on platform updates and industry best practices to continuously enhance automation capabilities. 
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 environments with a focus on Entra ID, Microsoft Intune and Autopilot. 
  • Handle escalated tickets and act as a mentor to Deployments Team techs 
  • Assist with “mini-projects” assigned by the IT Deployments Lead 
  • Troubleshoot PC and Mac issues via remote login 
  • Update client IT Deployments documentation and tickets 
  • Act as a subject matter expert for all Deployments processes  
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Required Technical Skills: 
  • Ability to easily troubleshoot and resolve PC and Mac-related hardware, software, operating system, email, printing, and network issues 
  • Strong familiarity with both MacOS and Windows 
  • Strong familiarity with differences between on premise and cloud environments 
  • Strong familiarity with networked printers and print servers  
  • Highly experienced with Powershell and Microsoft 365 Powershell Modules 
  • Expert with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Azure AD Connect 
  • Expert with Single Sign-On Technologies 
  • Highly experienced with Microsoft Intune 
  • Highly experienced with Mobile Device Management 
  • Expert with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite 
  • Expert understanding of setting up computers and account creation  
  • Expert with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Sharepoint (Desktop & Online) 
  • Familiarity with an IT service ticketing system and creating IT documentation 
  • ConnectWise, IT Glue and Immybot experience a major plus

  • Energetic, able to switch gears quickly from job-to-job / task-to-task 
  • Desire to learn; independently and on the job 



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education

Bachelor's Degree Required, Field of Study: IT or related technical field 


Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT support industry working with business environments 
  • Minimum 10 years of remote/help desk experience, ideally in a managed IT service environment 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior engineering role 
  • Experience with ConnectWise ticketing system is a major plus 


Certifications

IT industry certifications are preferred: Microsoft MD-100, MD-101, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+
