Please join us and contribute to our goals with your new role as IT Architect - Smart Factory (m/f/d). The role contains the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Build a future oriented IT Architecture for Smart Factory in accordance with Business Requirements
  • Responsibility for the development, provision, implementation, and support of business solutions in the area of Manufacturing IT Applications (e.g. SAP DM, Manufacturing Service Bus, Mixing Solutions, lIoT Edge, iConics)
  • Support the digital transformation of the business with digitalization solutions
  • Consult the business in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES, e.g. SAP DM)­ and other Smart Factory solutions such as Manufacturing Service Bus (MSB), lIoT Edge Technology, Machine Data + Process Data Acquisition and Recipe Management System
  • IT ownership of related Smart Factory application and responsibility to coordinate all infrastructure and other issue related activities
  • Implement and refine IT best practices in the relevant areas: project management, portfolio management, service management
  • Foster collaboration and cooperation with other teams and competence centers
  • Support to evaluate and to select potential suppliers
  • Support to steer and control external providers to ensure optimal world-wide service provisioning

Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Information Technology, lndustrial Engineering or related field or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant IT working experience in a multinational environment
  • Ideally, a combination of IT know-how and knowledge of manufacturing industry and production-related processes
  • IT Architecture Management (TOGAF Certificate desirable)
  • Enthusiasm for Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or other Smart Factory applications desirable
  • Business-fluent English language skills written and spoken, German language skills beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and structured work style
  • Embracing teamwork by supporting each other
  • Openness to business trips (10-20%)
