Job description

Grow the reputation of Wantable through influencer and affiliate marketing efforts, aligning with business priorities to elevate brand awareness and drive Wantable and Private Brand customer order volume.

The Influencer Partnerships Specialist will be responsible for building and managing influential brand partnerships through both influencer marketing and affiliate marketing initiatives. This role will work closely with the social media team to ensure a cohesive brand presence across all channels.

  • Source, vet, and recruit relevant influencers that align with brand values and target audiences
  • Negotiate influencer contracts and manage ongoing collaborations
  • Monitor influencer campaign performance and utilize data to optimize strategies
  • Grow and manage the affiliate marketing program, recruiting new partners and supporting ongoing relationships in partnership with the Social & Partnerships Director
  • Set up proper tracking mechanisms for affiliate sales and commissions
  • Analyze affiliate program performance and make data-driven recommendations
  • Collaborate with social media, marketing, and creative teams to maximize impact of brand partnerships
  • Foster positive relationships with the influencer and affiliate communities
  • Expected Outcomes for this position: 

    • Grow affiliate sales and influencer campaigns reach month-over-month.

    • Maintain a high level of brand alignment and quality in all external communications

  • 2+ years of experience in influencer marketing and/or affiliate marketing

  • Proven track record of building successful brand partnership programs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with external partners

  • Strong analytical skills to measure campaign performance and draw insights

  • Creative mindset to develop innovative partnership activations

  • Adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and influencer marketing tools

  • Knowledge of effective social media strategies a plus

Influencer Outreach and Collaboration:

  • Experience identifying, vetting, and recruiting influencers and affiliates that align with brand values and target audience

  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with influencers and manage ongoing partnerships

  • Skill in negotiating influencer/affiliate contracts and compensation structures

Campaign Management:

  • Expertise in developing and executing influencer marketing and affiliate programs that drive measurable results

  • Proficiency in campaign planning, content creation, tracking, and optimization

  • Capacity to analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven insights

Content Creation:

  • Expertise in creating visually appealing content that reflects the latest fashion trends and brand aesthetics.

  • Ability to create personalized, engaging content that resonates with the diverse tastes and preferences of each unique brand’s customer base.

  • Proficiency in photo and video editing tools that highlight product details, styling tips and other brand stories.

Brand Alignment:

  • Strong understanding of the brand identity, target customer, and visual aesthetic

  • Ability to ensure influencer and affiliate content seamlessly integrates with the brand

  • Skill in providing creative direction and feedback to maintain brand consistency

Relationship Building:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative partnerships

  • Capacity to be a brand ambassador and evangelize the product/service to influencers

  • Proactive in identifying new opportunities and relationship-building

Analytical Mindset:

  • Skill in tracking and analyzing key performance metrics like reach, engagement, conversions, ROI
