Job description

We are an advertising agency seeking an innovative and data-driven Director of Paid Media to lead our team of top-tier marketing strategists and media buyers. This remote leadership position will oversee paid campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Google, TikTok, Bing, Amazon, SMS, and email marketing.

 

ABOUT THIS POSITION
As the Director of Paid Social, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing paid social media strategies. We’re seeking a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing high-performance teams and driving impactful results for clients. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Lead and develop a team of media buyers by developing and implementing innovative, results-driven strategies that align with client objectives and account success.
  • Manage and mentor a team of experienced media buyers, encouraging a collaborative and growth-focused work culture.
  • Provide guidance on campaign execution, optimization, and professional development.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive paid social media plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to create compelling and high-converting ad creatives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms within the paid social landscape. Leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our campaigns.
  • Create KPIs and OKRs and lead the team towards success and performance.
  • Work closely with other departments to integrate paid social strategies seamlessly into broader marketing initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and effective overall strategy for our clients.
  • Utilize analytics tools to assess campaign performance, providing actionable insights and optimization recommendations.
  • Implement A/B testing and other strategies to enhance results continually.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Ensure client satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for account growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years managing large, complex media budgets across digital platforms. Strong analytical abilities and expertise in performance marketing and conversion rate optimization are required. Superior communication skills and aptitude for mentorship also expected.

 

This is a completely remote position with flexible schedules. You will directly report to our Director of Operations and Founder. If you have the proven paid media leadership skills to maximize our clients’ advertising performance, we would love to hear from you.

 

COMPENSATION
$70,000/year
PTO with Flexible Schedule
