Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a full-time employee eligible for employment in the United States.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced technical leader to design and deliver best-in-class marketing automation solutions for our clients. The Platform Architect is a hybrid role, expected to advise clients on best practice architecture decisions, design data structures and journeys to accomplish client marketing use cases and lead Engineering teams on implementation. You will partner closely with leads across Strategy, Product, Campaign Execution, Quality and Delivery to ensure on-schedule and on-budget delivery of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

·       Consult clients on platform architecture, patterns, and practices.

  • Lead discussions with clients to assist with gathering use cases and requirements.
  • Establish platform architecture for executing marketing campaigns and journeys.
  • Partner with project managers to ensure teams meet client and project commitments.
  • Lead technical teams on client projects, ensuring teams meet sprint commitments.
  • Convert client user stories to tasks executable by team members.
  • Collaborate on- and off-project with domestic and offshore team members.
  • Set standards for platform implementation patterns and practices.
  • Proactively enable team members to develop secure applications.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to less senior team members.


Requirements
Critical Competencies

·       Collecting and structuring Martech data in service of use cases.

·       Use case activation, measurement and reporting.

·       Multi-channel journeys and communications.

·       Marketing channel initialization (e.g. email IP warming).

·       Data privacy regulations and standard practices.

·       Customer preference management.

·       Energy and enthusiasm to create value, internally and for clients.

Qualifications

·       7+ years using Campaign Management tools, preference for Adobe technology.

·       2+ years using Journey Management tools, preference for Adobe Journey Optimizer.

·       Experience in a client-facing role, consulting preferred.
