Overview: We're launching a nutrition-focused food concept and are looking for a Dietitian with a passion for ingredients and health, who also understands kitchen operations and basic business functions. This role blends nutritional expertise with hands-on involvement in supplier coordination, kitchen setup, and business support—perfect for someone excited to build something from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee nutritionally balanced meals.
Source and evaluate ingredients based on quality, macros, and supplier reliability.
Stay current on trends in nutrition, health, and food sourcing.
Assist in setting up the kitchen (layout, equipment, workflow).
Coordinate with equipment suppliers and ensure operational readiness.
Help define kitchen processes and food safety standards.
Work with outsourced accountants to manage invoices, budgets, and reporting.
Track food and setup costs; support financial planning.
Requirements:
Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
Strong knowledge of ingredients, macros, and supplier management.
Familiarity with kitchen setup and equipment needs.
Good with numbers and business tools (e.g., spreadsheets, accounting platforms).
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working on both health and business tasks
Experience in a food startup, wellness clinic, or culinary business.
