About the Job

Offensive Security is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Specialist to support our Inside Sales team. In this role, you'll connect with new potential clients through consistent outreach using structured cadences, emails, and phone calls. You will also be responsible for scheduling and participating in client meetings and guiding transactional sales from the initial point of contact to a successful close.

As a key member of our North American market team, you'll have opportunities for future growth within the company. With a significant market of over 10,000 potential clients, your drive, competitive spirit, and focus on achieving financial goals will be essential for success.

This is an exciting chance to build your career as a cybersecurity sales expert with OffSec in a continuously expanding industry.

About you

You're a self-starter with a passion for solving problems and making things happen. You thrive in fast-moving environments where resourcefulness, ownership, and curiosity aren’t just valued — they’re required. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking smart questions, and proactively seeking the answers you need to move opportunities forward.

You're a strong communicator who can collaborate across teams, but you’re just as effective working independently. You understand that sales is about creating value — not just for your pipeline, but for your customers. You take a consultative approach, uncovering needs, aligning solutions, and helping prospective customers see how OffSec can transform their security teams and outcomes.

Above all, you’re someone who believes in the mission: helping organizations develop the skills to defend against real-world threats.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for inbound and outbound leads within your territory or segment — from initial engagement to close, with support from Sales Engineering and Customer Success when needed.
  • Qualify and develop leads using a consultative approach, understanding customer needs, technical challenges, and alignment to OffSec’s training and certification solutions.
  • Proactively build pipeline through outbound efforts, follow-up on marketing-generated leads, and strategic outreach to targeted accounts.
  • Educate and guide prospects through OffSec’s offerings, demonstrating how our hands-on, real-world training supports workforce development, upskilling, and security maturity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Channel teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and support account growth.
  • Navigate buying processes across commercial, government, and channel-driven environments — understanding how to sell through resellers, distributors, or contract vehicles when needed.
  • Track activities and opportunities in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), maintain clean pipeline hygiene, and forecast accurately.
  • Stay informed on OffSec product updates, certifications (like OSCP, OSEP), cybersecurity trends, and relevant frameworks (e.g., NIST/NICE, MITRE ATT&CK) to engage effectively with prospects.
  • Bring a solution-oriented mindset to every interaction — whether it’s handling objections, identifying new stakeholders, or finding creative ways to advance a deal.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or technical training environments.
  • Experience working with or selling through channel partners, resellers, or distributors is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
  • A genuine interest in cybersecurity, upskilling, and workforce development.

This role is a remote, full-time salaried position.
