What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant with a specialty acquisition policies and procedures in the federal government. As an Acquisition Senior Consultant, you have the opportunity to provide significant input to optimizing the acquisition processes with the agency. As part of this effort, you will help connect program needs to contracting office requirements by identifying standards, processes, metrics, and tools that support the acquisition lifecycle.

What You Will Need:

Demonstrates a record of working in the federal acquisitions space, and the ability to assess problems, looking for creative and feasible solutions. Specific skills required include:

  • A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5 years of work experience
  • Experience with federal acquisition lifecycles and the Federal Acquisition Register (FAR)
  • Demonstrates proven success in a management consulting role supporting federal budgeting and acquisition-related projects
  • Experience with data analysis and data visualization
  • Demonstrates creative thinking skills and individual initiative
  • Experience with delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
  • Ability to use data to inform strategy, problem-solve and make decisions
  • Innovative mindset and intellectual curiosity regarding industry and academic trends
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing recurring deliverables
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MPH, MPP, MHA, MPA, MSOD)
  • Acquisition Certification (e.g., DAWIA, FAC-C)
  • Experience in public health and/or healthcare

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$133,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
