As you lead our community efforts, you'll be responsible for developing and executing Luma's community strategy, building and scaling a thriving global community ecosystem that is critical to Luma's success, and leading a team of community professionals.
The ideal candidate is a passionate community leader with proven experience building and scaling communities. You have a strategic mindset paired with tactical execution skills, and you're passionate about creating spaces where creators thrive. Experience leading community teams at creative technology companies and deep knowledge of AI ecosystems is a significant advantage.
What you'll do:
Own and evolve Luma’s global community strategy, aligning community initiatives with company goals while ensuring users feel valued, heard, and inspired.
Lead and grow our community team, managing hiring, structure, and execution across multiple user segments.
Build and scale our Creator Ecosystem, including our premium Creator Program, with strong relationships across influential creators and long-term partners.
Design and run community programs for developers, educators, students, and creators that drive adoption, loyalty, and brand affinity.
Oversee content, events, and activations, including AMAs, creative challenges, showcases, workshops, and IRL moments that bring the Luma community to life.
Establish community measurement systems, using insights to inform product and marketing decisions while tracking impact across the business.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Support, and Partnerships to turn community insights into company strategy.
What you bring:
Proven experience building and scaling communities, ideally within creative tech, AI, or consumer SaaS
2+ years in a community leadership or marketing role, including team or budget management
Track record of designing successful creator programs or ambassador ecosystems
Strategic mindset with comfort moving between long-term vision and day-to-day execution
Strong cross-functional communication skills; experience aligning with Marketing, Product, and GTM functions
Data-informed — able to define, measure, and communicate community impact
Passion for Luma’s mission and enthusiasm for the creative potential of generative AI
